Rewarding jobs available to support young people

Passenger Assistants help up to 700 children and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities on their journey to and from school and college every single day.

Passenger Assistants travel on a range of different vehicles (e.g. taxis, minibuses, specially adapted vehicles) and are picked up and dropped off by the operator at their home address.  This is an important safeguarding role and more assistants are needed.

Could this be a role for you? You need to have few hours per week, strong communications skills, and the ability to negotiate with, counsel and entertain children in your care.
