Wakefield residents will get the chance to ask questions to the Council’s key decision makers about issues that affect the district during a live Q&A on Facebook.
Wakefield Question Time will take place on Tuesday 29 June at 12pm where Council Leader, Cllr Denise Jeffery, will be answering questions about investment in the district’s green spaces.
Cllr Jeffery will be joined by Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Green Spaces, Cllr Jack Hemingway and Glynn Humphries, Corporate Director for Communities, Environment and Climate Change.
All people need to do is put their questions in the comments section on the live stream on Facebook and the panel will answers as many questions as possible during the one-hour session.
Cllr Denise Jeffery, Leader of Wakefield Council, said: “We know that our green spaces have been more important than ever to our residents over the last year and that’s why we have committed to invest in our parks and countryside across the district.
“This extra investment also helps us to take climate change and ensure that the natural environment is still as wonderful for future generations to enjoy. If you have a question about a park or green space near you, please join the session and get in touch.”
Join in on Facebook @MyWakefield at 12pm on Tuesday 29 June.
Some questions may not be taken by the panel if not relevant to the topic and/or the Council, or if it requires the disclosure of confidential or exempt information.
